Baseball Clubhouse FAQ's
So, who are you guys anyway? - We are a group of baseball fans who were members of another baseball site
that has shut down its public forums for the most part. We had a great group together
and we wanted to keep the discussion flowing, so we formed this site, and here
we are!
What kinds of discussion go on in the forums? - Anything about baseball is welcome. We have separated the forum into categories
so you can find the topics you are looking for easily, or post a topic of your
own. We also have some limited discussion of other sports and pop culture as well.
I'm listed as a draftee. What the heck does that mean? - We decided to give each user some titles based on how many posts they have
made.

Are there any rules to follow? - Yes, there is one main rule. Act like a gentleman at all times. However, you
can find the other rules in the rules section of the site.
So, not everything goes? - Right.
Someone can't see my point, after three posts explaining it. What do I do? -
Move along. Agree to disagree. If you keep pounding on a point, that's considered
ungentlemanly and the mods will warn you.
Someone really attacked my idea? What should I do? - For one, don't take it personally. If they disagreed with the idea, concept,
or theory, then it's no reflection on you as a person. You may defend the idea
(be sure to remember to agree to disagree after a few posts) but do not take it
personally out on them.
Personal attacks on another clubhouse member will get you suspended, and possibly
booted.
What is this warn thing I see under my name? - That is your warning level from the mods. If you do something considered ungentlemanly
(based on the rules) the mods will warn you. They also have the option of suspending
you. In the worst of all cases, the admins will boot you. The warning levels are
there to show you what the mods have found in violation of the rules, and what
action needs to be taken.
Don't worry, we're not on a witch hunt here. We just want to be sure the boards
have great discussion without feelings being hurt.
I don't agree with my warning. What should I do? - Email the mod. But be nice. The mod can explain in more detail what the issue
was - but do not expect the warning to be removed. And if you are nasty to a mod
- then, you may as well just mosey on along.
Can't I post my beef on the forum? - No. The forums are for talks on baseball. There is a section for forum news,
but do not air dirty laundry there. Those posts will be removed quickly.
Can I link to my own site? - Only with permission. And only if you are contributing in a meaningful way.
Wow. Sounds like a lot of rules. - Not really. We just want to be sure the site is a great place for baseball discussion.
That's all.
Anything else? - Yes! Thanks for visiting!
