An odd game someone brought up at an Orioles board I go to.

In the first, ARod gets hit by a pitch. Myette (Ranger's pitcher) apparently decides to retaliate, and throws his first 2 pitches behind Melvin Mora and is then ejected mid-batter.

Todd Van Poppel relieves him, throws 2 scoreless innings to get the win.

Joaquin Benoit then pitches the final 7 innings for the save!

Orioles only hit in the game is a triple to lead off the ninth inning by Jerry Hairston jr.

Gotta love a 2 inning Win and a 7 inning Save. Kinda like the famous Ernie Shore "perfect game" when he relieved the Babe after one batter.
