We are the co-founders of Baseball Clubhouse - the folks who decided to give
you a place to have good baseball discussion that's free of the "you bum, you
stink" attitude and centers on current baseball issues, baseball history, and
the lighter side of the game and life.
Shawn Weaver (sweaver) is a Reds fan dating back to the days of the Big Red Machine, and
by day teaches physics in the beautiful hill country of West Virginia. In his
(heh, heh) spare time Shawn spends time with his wife and four children.
Tim Burnell (TimmyB) is a life-long Red Sox fan who still can't believe Bucky Dent's pop-up
to shortstop somehow made it over the Wall. This continuous state of disbelief
has lessened the blows of Game 6 in '86 and the Grady-Pedro incident of 2003.
Brought up in southern New Hampshire, he now calls Franconia, New Hampshire home.
The natives, however, call him a "flatlandah".
Jocelyn Smith (hmrsf) is another life long Red Sox fan living out in the wild, wooly part
of Masachusetts. Jocelyn is the official "hostess" of the Baseball Clubhouse,
and can always be coutned on for good karma!
Skip Hahnert (Skip) is a reds fan who grew up in Cincinnati during the 1970s. He taught college
mathematics, physics, and computer science while serving as Mr. Mom for his three
children. He's mad that his kids are better than him at chess. Skip has foresworn
speaking about a certain "Hit King" ever again.
Glen Stroup (Wired Tiger) is a lifetime Tigers fan whose earliest memory is of Mark Fidrych
pitching on National television. His favorite baseball memory is of Kirk Gibson
hitting the homerun off Goose Gossage in the 1984 World Series. He currently resides
in Detroit and wishes the Tigers still played games at Tiger Stadium.
Ken Auerbach (Go Yanks) has been a Yankees fan for 55 years. He is the master of the trivia
domain. You can't sneak a question by this crafty veteran!
Trevor Wishman (TGwynn19) became a Padres fan the minute he saw Tony Gwynn swing a bat. After
growing up in Iowa and graduating from the University of Iowa he moved to Naples,
Florida. He currently works as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. It's a
Cinderella story!
Lee Sinins (nyy26wc) is a baseball writer most known for his daily Around the Majors reports.
He's also the creator of the Sabermetric Baseball Encyclopedia. When the lifelong
Yankees fan isn't obsessing over baseball, he's busy with his TV addiction or
reading.
